Pitlochry New Year's Day - Pitlochry B&B

The Pitlochry New Year's Day celebration was started in 2000 and has been a great success ever since.  With up to 3000 people participating there is a real party atmosphere.  Atholl Road, Pitlochry's main street, is closed to traffic from 2pm to 4pm and the ceilidh band leads the entire town in a ceilidh.

Sausage rolls (thousands of them), soup and pies are provided free of charge by the generous Macdonald Brothers butchers.
