We have recently installed a few lights around the Torrdarach garden which illuminate the house and some of our trees at night. We have our very own ‘enchanted forest’!
Despite being over-exposed and under-exposed all at the same time (quite a skill), my photos give you a feel for what Torrdarach now looks like in the dark. We will get some professional shots taken later in the year when there is a bit more colour in the garden.

We now have a more spacious car park at Torrdarach House with the addition of two new spaces…..the excitement never ends…..
Some fairly serious kit was involved in excavating and laying the two new spaces. The whole of the lower drive was also scraped flat again and covered in fresh gravel.

The construction of the new breakfast room extension went well and is now complete. Hurray! We fitted the oak floor last week and cleaned and furnished the room this weekend. The malt cupboard, which is now the entrance to the new breakfast room, has been relocated to new shelving on the other side of the fireplace in the lounge.
The new breakfast room has some great views into the garden and over Pitlochry. Difficult to photograph, but the snaps below should give you some idea of what we have done. Professional photos will follow later in the year.
