Pitlochry Enchanted Forest 2013 – Absorb

Another great Enchanted Forest show is set to keep the visitors flocking to Pitlochry for the month of October. The year’s theme, ‘Absorb’ sees a multitude of glowing orbs positioned throughout the Faskally Woods and around, on and in Loch Dunmore with light and sound ‘shows’ at a number of strategic points around the loch.

We had a preview of the show last night and it is superb. Over 30,000 expected to visit. Tickets are available from http://www.enchantedforest.org.uk/.  Buses leave from the centre of Pitlochry. 5 minute journey. I have posted a few photos below to give you a feel for the show. This is a great time of year to visit Pitlochry and a visit to The Enchanted Forest is to be recommended.

Enchanted Forest 2012 – June 2012

The Enchanted Forest festival of sound and light is returning to Faskally Woods near Pitlochry for its 10th season show. This year’s show is entitled ‘Flow’ and takes its inspiration from the ‘dynamic elements of water and trees, plants and animals of Faskally Woods’.

World renowned visual artists, Dalziel and Scullion have been commissioned to work alongside the award winning sound and light engineers from previous Enchanted Forest shows, so it is sure to be an impressive event.  Storytelling in the yurt also makes a popular return at this year’s event. Hot food, drinks and mulled wine will also be available in the woods.

The Enchanted Forest runs from Friday 5th October to Saturday 27th October and tickets are on sale now:

The Enchanted Forest – Pitlochry Explorers’ Garden

The Enchanted Forest is an impressive sound and light show on in Pitlochry during the month of October.  This year’s show has relocated from its previous home in Faskally Woods, to the Explorers’ Garden behind the Pitlochry Festival Theatre.  The relocation of the show was the inspiration for this year’s theme ‘Transitions’.

Dress up warm!  We went last night and it was a bit chilly in Pitlochry – get yourself a mulled wine on the way in.  Tasty.  It takes about an hour to walk around the network of paths.  Here are a few photos of the EnchantedForest.  Lots more on our Facebook page –  https://www.facebook.com/Torrdarach.

Tickets are available at the Pitlochry Enchanted Forest website at http://www.enchantedforest.org.uk/.  Have fun.
